Unfortunately it seems to be a yearly trend to find someone has died at one of the campgrounds at Talladega. Last year someone drowned, prior to that carbon monoxide death, flag pole into power line death before that.
My wife and I were commenting Sunday morning when we were heading away from the track, we live a couple of miles behind it, that no one had died at this year's race. Thought it was going to be good start to the first race then we heard about the deaths that evening.
Lincoln PD had not released any details and bodies have been sent for autopsies. Sounds like carbon monoxide poisoning and foul play has been ruled out.
Stay safe race fans.
