The last four years, I've had to have an inspection report showing the vehicle - by VIN and Tag # - had passed a safety inspection in less than ten months - before Collin County (TX) would renew my vehicle registration.
Along with proof of insurance.
Now - Livingston is in Polk County - Home of Escapees and their mail forwarding service/ residence service - which is not one of the counties like Collin County where an emissions test of part of the state safety inspection.
