Last weekend my partner and I camped at our local KOA just for a getaway from the house. We hAave camped there several times, alone and with friends and we love the peacefulness of this particular KOA...

We had a similar situation a couple years ago with an older child who was trying to befriend my way younger boys.
I tried to be nice for the first couple of days, we even let him come swimming with us. Which made me VERY uncomfortable. This kids parents were NEVER around.
My wife and I tried hinting, but that had no effect. We finally had to be direct, but nice. We asked him to leave at dinner time and other "family activity" times.
It got really bad. He was being very obnoxious. I finally had to threaten to find his parents. Which I never could find by the way.
We saw him the next year. He started to come by our site, but I asked him to leave again. I hope I don't have to confront this kid this year.
Just be direct and nice. It can be difficult to ask someone to leave, but you have to for your own sanity.
