Use of Generators to run Air Conditioners when camping

Does everyone but us get to run their generators anytime they want to... It just blows me away when I read about everyone buying and apparently using generators for their air conditioners for campi...

Roy, I bought my motorhome to be my hotel room on wheels. I will use the AC when it is hot and the furnace when it is cold. I will watch my sat tv when I want.

Some of us are not campers we are travelers and tourists choosing not to sleep in the dirt left in hotel rooms by others. We also got our fill of camping when in Army.
