Use of Generators to run Air Conditioners when camping

We dry camp, and I do run the generator on occasion. But always in short bursts. Maybe to microwave something for a few minutes. Or half an hour or so to knock the heat down a bit with the AC.

So I kind of agree with both points of view. I try to keep in mind some folks really don't like generator noise, and try and keep our use to the bare minimum. Never run it before noon and rarely after 6pm. and again for minutes not hours
