Use of Generators to run Air Conditioners when camping

Does everyone but us get to run their generators anytime they want to... It just blows me away when I read about everyone buying and apparently using generators for their air conditioners for campi...

I fault the campgrounds for not grouping all the generators in one area downwind. It is same for choosing a non-smoking room at a hotel. If you don't like what is available then come back a different day.
