I wish there was a way of pressuring the generator mfg. to make a better product. I've written to Onan with no response after offering to buy a fuel injected clean generator. I've posted this opinion on numerous RV forums without much response.
Seriously some of these complaints are due to the fact the current state of the art of generators is so bad. Someone should be able to run their AC and not be heard by dozens of campers. There should be no exhaust odor. There should be much less running just to satisfy maintenance requirements.
I use the generator, I like the generator but am NOT happy these products are so stuck on old design.
