When looking at a used "C", one thing I notice is that people use the bathroom to store stuff... and for some reason, it winds up being quite a smelly place, with some of the most noxious stuff stashe...

I suspect most people would consider the shower stall as the best place to store "nasty" stuff because it is the easiest place to clean up afterwards. A leak in a cupboard will ooze all through the wood and be impossible to clean out - the same leak in the shower stall just requires some bleach and spraying it down with water.
