I use a Craftsman.. from Sears.. also good for engine coolant and looking for engine misses.. a cool exhaust port is cylinder is not firing.

if checking tire temp.. also check wheel hub temp. ..bad brake or wheel bearing.

and maybe 60 seconds to do all of them.
