We had fun as we got our new to us 'used' retirement rig read to roll... We also were changing state domicile over to SD, so it was a perfect time to get plates.
As you pull up behind us, you see 'ONDROAD' for out Toad. Then you pull up a bit more and see 'THEJRNY'. So, we're 'On The Road' for the 'The Journey'.
We also had two placards made up for the inside of the coach. Our nick name for our coach is 'ROO II' (Our first RV was a T-28 Bounder, named ROO for the Bounder mascot. We wanted to carry on the wonderful karma of our T-28 experiences, into our new to us Retirement Rig.)
Our placards read 'The adventures of ROO II! OnTheRoad for The Journey!'. We have one placard above the driver's seat, so you see it's seen when first stepping into the coach. The second is above the sliding door between the kitchen and back rest/bedroom area.
We strive to be worthy of these license plates and placards - as we do are darnedest to to enjoy even the challenging days that come along as we travel. So often, we've seen what 'attitudes' can do to either make a bad situation worst. Or, a bad situation into a chance to make lemonade!!!
And the funds we pay extra, we feel are for a worth cause:)!
Best to all, be safe, have fun on 'your journey's',
Smitty
