Vent cover for Fantasic Fan?
I was going to get a Maxxair Cover for my bedroom Vent. I was told that you can not use them on a Fantastic Fan.
Is this correct? if so why?

- I use a common vent cover on one of mine. It does cut down on the flow, I run it on 2 instead of 1, but it still works fine.
- I have owned the Maxx air cover and now the last two RV's the Fantastic Vent cover. Fantastic costs more but puts the Maxx to shame in all areas! No screen in the Fantastic so it allows full air flow.
- The new Maxx Air Fan Mate 955 like this is taller and I have no problem with my Fantastic Fan,which BTW the cover is designed to stop when it hits anything. I like the clips,they make it easy to open and clean the vent cover.

BTW the video linked is an old one and is only is a advertisement for their own vent. - Maxxair does or did make a cover for the Fantastic Fan, we had one on our previous trailer. The Fanmate looks pretty much the same as it was. Worked fine.
- Fan-tastic Vent claims using their Ultra Breeze vent cover is much less restrictive than other brands of vent covers, as demonstrated in this video.
