Interesting rant. Ironically we were staying one night at Ochoco Divide CG on our way back from an eastern Oregon camping trip a couple years ago. We pulled in and found a spot. As were backing in the camp host came over and wanted to cut some branches so we could park without rubbing the branches. Pretty cool I thought.
Trimming branches is not the same a cutting down trees. Sometimes it's needed.
