Pay attention all you want, but having lived at Sherwood Forest RV Park for over a year after we sold our home in Clearwater before our retirement, I would not have thought one iota about that area having severe flooding. I worked in several LE agencies in the county for several decades and that area is NOT prone to severe flooding. there is not much one can do, including the authorities, if there is NO history for them to go by. Even though the rains of the past 10 days have been of biblical portions, there was still nothing to alarm authorities about any pending disasters.
