View blocked by awnings

Our coach has awnings on all the windows, But we do not use them as the block so much of the view out the windows. Are there awnings that don't block so much of your view? They were a waist of money we never uses them. This isn't the best picture to show the problem but it is one I had available.

In this photo look to the left out the windows and see the blue, those are the awnings, you might as well have the blinds down.

  • Our awning will all adjust to how far you want them out and when not all the way out, they are higher up so don't block any view. We use ours all the time to help keep the coach cooler in hot weather. It's also less noisy in windy conditions with the awning out than what it is with just toppers. Our awnings fasten down so don't flap around like the topper will.
  • My window awnings have 3 positions on the hold-down strap so I can adjust how far I want the awnings to come down. Is there a way that you can lengthen your hold-down straps so that the awnings don't come down all the way.
  • Carefree has "Fullview" fabric for window awnings that is like shadecloth- you can see out, but not in. You can buy just the replacement fabric or the whole awning.
