I would love to see a mountain lion. They are just starting to be seen in my part of Tennessee. Several clear images have been captured on trail cams. Right now they are believed to be transient, no breeding population.
My guess is that if one is seen there are 3-4 not seen. They generally avoid being seen.
I agree for that one to be so bold, it's either 1) very hungry 2) become accustomed to humans in some way. That is concerning.
