A number of years back while camping at Pismo Beach State Park, our Collie at the time started barking softly. We looked up to see a female Mountain Lion leisurely walking down the roadway about 25-30' from our site. Not a care in the world....wish I had had the camera/phone ready. It just seemed funny to see a big cat that close to the ocean.
