Volunteer work next summer
My name is Scott and I'm taking over the Shotgun Director position at the NRA Whittington Center near Raton, NM next summer. I will need at least 2 volunteers to help on the shotgun ranges.
Work will vary but mostly it will be keeping the ranges clean, filling the clay target throwers, helping set targets for tournaments, and other things as needed. I can train as needed. It is sometimes a little strenuous but not terrible. You really need to be in decent condition withe the higher elevation.
It will be 20 hours a week but possibly a little more during busy periods. You will get a full hookup site and free shooting on all ranges.
If you've never been in northern New Mexico, it is absolutely beautiful and cooler in the summer. The elevation is about 6500ft.
If you're interested or have questions, please contact me at shootinscotty@protonmail.com You can look at the facility at nrawc.org
