- Water-BugExplorer III don't recall ever seeing any news reports involving violence between bikers and RVers. I'm sure that there have been incidents where an RV crunched a bike but have never heard of any mass retribution or violence. Biker violence usually involves establishing turf or maintaining a macho image. There is nothing macho about beating up some old man or family in an RV.
- gboppExplorerMaybe we're watching a rerun of Mad Max with Mel Gibson too often?
- Us_out_WestExplorerWhy this is even in a RV Forum I have no clue.
:h - RCMAN46ExplorerSorry I did not test the link.
Bikers gone crazy
How about this one from a few years ago in NYC.
NYC Bikers
I knew this posting would get a lot of negative response.
But from the way the Bikers reacted in Waco because of a parking issue I for one hope I never have to pass a group of them or have them pass me on a remote highway such as you find in most of the West. - westendExplorerEven the 1%'ers don't think they rule the road. These clubs have all kinds as members, just don't think all of them are friendly and up to good deeds.
The Waco gunfight involved clubs that were sworn arch enemies. I know of these Banditos. Wouldn't be inviting them over for a BBQ. - Old-BiscuitExplorer III1%.......bikers that fly club colors do NOT like getting involved with 'citizens'
Motorcycle riders on 'ninja' crotch rocket bikes can get 'stupid' at times whipping in/out amongst vehicles, doing wheelies at 70 mph etc because they are young and dumb
Weekend motorcycle riders are just that......out for a cruise enjoying the sights.
Out of the three groups......
#2---the young dumb, feeling their oats, trying to one up each other are more of a hazzard and issue out on the road then any of the clubs - EscargotExplorer"Oh puhlease" is right!
We have plenty of biker clubs throughout California that usually travel in packs on weekends. I've never had a problem with them, nor felt threatened, nor seen / experienced any nefarious behaviors by them on the road.
I'd liken them to any RV group caravanning together. They're just out together enjoying their bikes and the camaraderie of other like-minded people.
The Waco scene morons are the exception rather than the rule. - fj12ryderExplorer IIIOh puhleeze. I've yet to see where "Biker gangs...rule the road."
And that's a bad link.
