- buta4ExplorerI remember, as a a 16-tear old kid, Me and my Mom, Dad and sis, took 5-week road trip across the USA in 1956.
I believe we were on Rt66 when we saw Wall Drug Signs on the roadside maybe 200 miles out!
We didn't stop and kept on going driving and seeing,.....
"STOP! TURN AROUND! YOU MISSED WALL DRUG!" signs for another 50-100 miles.
How I wish we had stopped. This was before the Interstates were built. - DianneOKExplorerSome folks like working at zoos.....so...keep it civil, people....

So you actually have information and are with holding it for some reason, or this is your idea of a joke?
I avoided stopping for my free ice water the first dozen times I drove past Wall Drugs. Finally was nagged into stopping. as anybody who has been there can attest, the place makes a WalMart seem sophisticated. It is a zoo.
