Walmart list

No park Walmarts, full list:

  • Give it some more time it will be company wide..... Like always someone always screws up a good thing for the ones that respect their property.
  • The list that Bill Halberstadt maintains and is published both on a Yahoo group and a Discovery Owners site are the absolute best. But only because he is always on top of it. He can also use our help.

  • All stays is another place to check online. It shows Walmarts on a map, and will give parking information. We stayed at one in Fairmont, MN. A sign in the lot said no overnight parking, but Allstays said to go in and ask, that others had been told they could park overnight. They said we could park overnight.
  • I've been instead searching out Home Depots or Lowes for short overnighting between day drives, or churches, instead.

Abuse has been the cause of the Wal Mart declines, the last thing you want is government intervention on REIT type properties, usually influenced by those losing out on revenue because their pricey RV parks are being bypassed by value conscious consumers.
  • And I suspect that sometimes WalMart blames local restrictions even when the restrictions are due to some people abusing the privilege, turning the parking lot into a pig sty.
  • Don't take the list as 100% accurate. It lists the Concord NH location as no parking. During NASCAR races the lot is full.

I wish they showed at list of accepting RVs rather than a list of declining though

Try the RVParky app or website (RVParky.com). We use the app and always call before stopping to make sure the info is accurate. The app is awesome since it allows you to dial directly from the app.
