Walmart Savings Catcher online & app

Since we always try to cut costs so we have more money for diesel fuel and campgrounds, thought I'd pass this along in case you haven't heard about it. Just discovered Walmart Savings Catcher online and app. Sign up (free) then either key in the receipt numbers or scan on your phone. Walmart checks other local prices and gives you the difference in a gift card. Receipt must be within last 7 days. We shop at Walmart when on the road if one is nearby or if we can boondock there.

  • Since September cashed out over $36.

It has worked fine. It's mad $

The last use DW bought material for a quilt.

We use the bluebird card, and the savings catcher doubles the savings amount added until the end of February.

Actually the Savings Catcher has been $18, and then doubled by applying it to the bluebird card.
  • Been doing that for about 3/4 months. Have racked up an amazing 17 cents so far!

2 reasons: 1) I'm a very "thrifty" shopper. 2) WM is no longer close to "low, low prices". And that app is bogus. I tracked 3 items recently that were significantly lower in price in other stores. Did I get a rebate? Well, NO!

I'm sure that WM has a ready excuse. Humbug!!
  • I've been using it and have accumulated about $12 in 3 months, for a single person household. That's nice, but one of the handiest things is the e-receipt feature. After the receipt is stored in the app, you can use it for returns. No need to keep up with the paper receipt.

I decided to accumulate all my $$ and cash it out once a year to use for Christmas shopping. That's what I do with all my Amazon Visa rewards points.
