Want to get Air Lift Bags

I been running Firestones since I can't remember and not a problem.

I use TorkLift StableLoads to carry my truck camper which is heavier than than your pin weight. I use my Firestone airbags when I am towing a heavy tongue weight trailer on my extension.

The StableLoads allow your overloads to engage sooner so the rear does not sag down so far before engaging them.

My Firestone air bags are plumbed to separate manual fill fittings. After two years with the bags, I have not felt the need for an on board compressor.

I have the Air Lift 1000`s on my X. they were 13 years old up until last year. they have a lifetime warranty that the company honored with out issues. I only had to pay return shipping. they work great for restoring ride height which is what most people want. I have an on board compressor and gauges. it`s not wireless, but still works the same. make sure they are plumbed separately so you don`t have any air transfer from side-side.

I have heard Firestones are good, but I have no first hand knowledge of them. I did have a 98 F250 that had the automatic leveling system, factory installed, and it worked flawlessly. I loved the feature, totally idiot proof, which is a major advantage for me!

I installed the new airlift 5000 bags that don't need to have air in them when not in use. I also installed the smart air auto leveling system. I wired an on/off switch and dump switch, along with an air pressure gauge.

Love them ... I don't completely level when towing, I figured out only 25 psi needed for a good towing ride.

I have the Firestone air bags on my Dodge dually. And no, it's not overloaded. :)

If you need air bags your truck is probably over loaded. Check your weights before you spend money on something you may or may not need.
