it drains free flow, just not quite as fast,
open dip stick fill hole, remove end cap/plug of drain hose
stick into/over catch container
dirty oil runs out
the nipple for those replaces the drain plug
the opening thru the nipple and hose is of course now about have the flow area as the original opening
it stays permanently mounted in the generator behind the back cover plate
i'll try to get a picture and post it
the only reason its fresh on my mine is i just did a 1200 hours, oil change this week
it makes it so easy, its forget about it until next time
I give the engine 5 minutes to warm up first, only 5 minutes
that oil gets hot, and plastic bottle can get mighty warm with hot oil coming in
i drain the dirty oil into an empty qt bottle
then put the plug in the hose and fill the engine with clean oil
