How do you not see sparks flying off your rig?

"Ignoring a flat"? Or not even aware that they had a flat. With that size DP and that small of a trailer, it's entirely likely they didn't even notice any extra drag. A bit more attention to the mirrors and/or rear view monitor might have helped though.
