Some things can't be Educated Away.
Rude and/or so-called stupid are usually (IMHO) driven by deep down inbred attitudes and preferences ... and that's where the "me generation's" just plain good old fashioned selfishness comes into play. There's too much of it out there, and eventually we're all going to pay the price for it ... whether we're the receivers or the givers.
Camping is one relaxation activity where the rude and/or so-called stupid seem to think they can really cut loose and "be themselves" by letting it all hang out. They do stuff they could never get away with back home in their more established neighborhoods - which often still have some degree of mores control and/or peer-group control keeping a lid on their various selfish behaviors.
