While we don’t full time, we travel 4-5 months a year. We had the Splendide washer and vented dryer (side by side) in our DRV, now have Whirlpool stackable, vented washer and dryer in our Continental Coach. The Splendide was OK, but the dryer was 110 and took FOREVER to dry most anything. I much prefer the Whirlpool set I have now, just be sure to investigate how the manufacturer installs the units and that they are securely stacked.
I know from doing laundry at our son’s apartment that the single unit that washes and dries takes a really long time to complete a load. Like most others, I would not be without my own.
