Washer/dryer installation possible?

We are first time RVers and the misses desperately wants w/d unit. It's near impossible to find one that's already installed, meets our budget and has enough storage space as we are going to be full-timers for the next 3-5 years. The RV we were leaning more towards is a 2011 Copper Canyon 314FWRLS 5th Wheel. No hookup for a w/d. We were told that the w/d unit has to be close to the toilet. Is that true? Or can we put the w/d in the bedroom or living room? The RV is plenty big enough to find a place for it; that is if it doesn't have to be right next to the toilet. Weight and price of the w/d unit and installation isn't an issue. Any suggestions from anyone? From reading reviews, we just know having to go to the laundromat for the next 5 years straight is going to suck. Thanks in advance!
  • I'd be looking at a rig that supports washer/dryer. Peraps a Silverback by Forest River or even a Cedar Creek. I know, I'm partial 'cause I own a Creek but you need a substantial rig if your going to full-time as you propose. And my suggestion is a washer AND dryer, not a combo. Takes a little more space. but worth it. We don't fulltime, but often out 4-5 months at a time.
  • I have looked at using the location of an outdoor kitchen for W/D as it would already be plumbed and have electricity where I needed it. The issue with the floorplan you have picked, is you would need to run hot/cold/gray water lines as well as electricity to somewhere sturdy enough for w/d. putting it in rear closet, could be solution, however, you may want to think about how it will affect trailer level and stabilizers when it goes into a spin. I know with my TT, bounce in the rear end transfers everywhere in the trailer.
  • Location has to have access to Gray HT, Hot and cold water, and Electric. Best to look around and find a rig that has washer/dryer prep package so all the correct plumbing and electrical is already there. Look at RV Trader.com and you can select how many miles from your zip code and on advanced search area you can select washer /dryer Randu
