I live in the east, but I love California. But no way would I ever live there, or even consider actually going there except for an emergency. That said, most of the people in the other parts of the US don't worry about the drought there, because it doesn't seem to affect them and where they are. WRONG!!! Folks, most all of your fresh food comes out of the vast farms in California. A huge percentage of all the vegetables in the US come over the mountains and to your food distributor on trucks from farms in California. Without the farms in California, and the hundreds of professional drivers working and risking their lives on the road, the rest of the US would starve. So don't kick what you don't know, it might kick back!! The water shortage there should be a big concern for all of us.
