Washing to RV roof

What is a good product for cleaning the rubber roof of my 5th wheel? Forest River states "A mild household soap solution and a soft brush can be used to clean a rubber roof." I understand using a soft brush for surface protection. Is Dawn dish soap to aggressive or just right? Also, anyone with experience with UV protectant? Thanks.
  • Dish soap, spic n span, or laundry detergent should all be fine. "Mildness" is partly the cleaner used and partly the strength of the solution.

I've generally used a string mop on my rubber roof. It may not get perfectly spotlessly clean, but then again I don't eat off of it, nor even see it very frequently.
  • Dish soap is fine or Simple Green. I use a soft long handled brush for that once a year cleaning & inspection
