Washington State Fuel Tax

That could sting border communities a bit. Less incentive for Canucks to pop over and fill up.

Here in Texas, the fuel tax is low. However, where one gets slammed are toll roads. The only major Texas city that does not have them is San Antonio, since they had the guts to vote out people that kept demanding them.

Of course, the IH-35 truckers don't want to pay the tolls, so instead of taking a speed limit 85 road that is free and clear, they prefer to idle their engines in Austin traffic. It would be nice to have a discount on 18-wheelers just to get them out of the metro area.

Running larger vehicles might get a LOT more expensive here in Washington before long. We already have one of the highest fuel taxes in the nation and the pols in Olympia are pushing for another 11 cents increase, to be imposed in January.

Join the club. Nevada has always had high fuel taxes especially on diesel. As said prior states without income tax have to find it somewhere else.

The legal MJ revenues should offset some of this.

Not unlike WY. Those states that don't have a state income tax get their revenues elsewhere.

We're also getting an increase, Pennsylvania Fuel Tax
Our roads and bridges are falling apart.

Plus they may eventually toll every major road.
