Water enters bowl but ball does not move . . .

I just picked up a cable replacement kit (34106) for my Thetford toilet. When the foot pedal is down water comes into the bowl but the waste ball does not move. I knew the seal needed to be replaced...

God, patience and time once again saved the day. I didn't buy after all. I followed the instructions which came with the (two) repair kits; i.e. ball, new seal in one and 34102 (kit) in the other. It is a step by step procedure but taking my time and double checking as I moved forward got the 'lou' - jig-a-do. BB
