Water Faucets at campgrounds

I decided long ago that some people need to be securely cocooned for their own peace of mind.
I drink the water that I put in the water tank on the RV. I fill it from my well.
I rarely remember to put on gloves when dumping the tanks.
However, when I changed the black tank dump valve, I did wear hospital style gloves.
I have never sprayed any disinfectant of any kind on a campground faucet, but I do flush the bugs out of the faucet with a burst of water before connecting the hose. I have occasionally found bugs in there! It happens very seldom, but it has happened.
I simply refuse to allow germs to rule my life, just like I won't allow unruly campground neighbors spoil my camping experience.
