Just arroved on our first adventure ... Hooked up the water, and immediately found the water flooding out the basement area right below the shower. Turned the water off, but have no idea what to look for to see what the problem is.Any ideas?

Update: found a valve down there and hubby closed it and now that leak has stopped.However, now water is leaking below outside, near the tail pipe.Damn, why didn't we do a test run at home?

There might be another valve that is open, there is at least two drains from the water tank with valves and one from the water heater, there will be one or to overfill from the water tank that indicate full tank and this tank maybe full.Hoppe fully you have the instruction manual for the water routing, tank filling, and winterizing, or you might have blown a line of fitting, I do hope that you have a pressure regulator on the line.navigator

Are there any other campers around you? If so, ask them and they most likely will be glad to help out.

We do have a regulator, and it seems like the leaking by the tail pipe has stopped.I am SO kicking myself in the ass for not hooking everything up and doing a trial run at home! :(

Driveway camping is very useful, for sure, but, you will back on this first trip with fond memories and a few belly laughs!

We were on a trip after owning the RV for 3 years and water started pouring out of the side when we hooked up at a campground. I forgot to replace the hot water tank plug after it had been winterized and bypassed. That is part of the fun of camping, trying to prevent my next bonehead more!

Convection oven rule of thumb: EITHER subtract 1/4 of the recipe time OR 25 degrees of oven temperature -- NOT BOTH. Otherwise, it's just like a standard oven for baking.
