Waxing our teardrop trailer

Mequires Flagship for trailer & the boats. Lots of good products out there. Get a good product. Well worth the extra few $. It takes the same time & effort to use the cheap stuff that does not last as the expensive stuff that does.

Marine wax will last the longest. An alternative for a metal exterior as with an Airstream trailer is to spray on a coat or two of clear lacquer.

x4 NuFinish... it has just enough solvent in it as well to remove tar, tree sap, and road grime that the wash and detail missed.

Here is a added bonus: You know that white plastic that the grab handle (right by the entrance door) is made of? You know the handle that has not been white since you owned the camper two months. Hit it with a little NuFinish on a moist soft rag...presto - Factory new! This holds true for propane tank covers, awning parts, and type of vinyl/plastic.

NuFinish is my first go to for tar spots on our vehicles... it works like a compound and a solvent... must be why it waxes so good...

I wax my 2003 MH twice a year with it since I purchased it back in Dec. 2004 and it still looks like the day I got it. I have been using this wax for the past 34 years on all of my vehicles, 2 Avion TT's, classic cars, etc. and have not found a better, easier wax to use or for protection.

Ditto on NuFinish. The problem with carnuaba is that it cooks off in the hot sun. the synthetics are much better and last much longer!

I've always been a Meguiars fan for my autos. I've heard a lot of good things about Nu Finish for campers, and may try it on my new 5th wheel.

I was a life-long McGuire's guy until I tried NuFinish. No, it's not a wax nor is it a polish but a concoction that actually coats the surface. It's no kidding that this stuff lasts a full year. I am convinced.
