For the front cap, maybe consider a vinyl wrap. If you’re handy with big decals, you can get a sheet of vinyl cheap and it will last a few years of sun n bugs then peel off and re do.
Fwiw the only real way to remove oxidation on paint or gel is buff and polish. Break out the rubbing compound and power tools.
From my experience on the zep finish I would tell you the poli glow is a much better product. The nice look is the same but the poliglow is a better product. I have posted why I know this to be true on this forum earlier.
