Not sure about GM but Ford changed their recommendations for WD set up for model year 2010 and newer. Used to recommend return to original settings as you have yours but the new recommendations are to replace only HALF of the rear end sag using the WD. I initially set up my 11 Ford up using old recommendations and it was a little loose feeling then I read in the owners manual about the new recommendations and changed the setting and was surprised how much it helped. I'd check your owners manual or check with Chevy dealer for their recommendations for your model. Bottom line is if it tows well and is stable you are probably good to go but your trailer is quite a bit smaller than mine. Good luck / Skip
