WDH re-adjust

I've been towing my Wildwood for a couple of years now with good results. It's been weighed and the WDH adjusted per Ford's recommendations.

The trailer has been level while in towing configuration. I want to drop the hitch one hole, about 1 1/4", to put a little front down attitude.

My question is will this require a resetup or will it be "close enough". Eyeball engineering indicates that I will have a little more forward weight distribution with the change.
  • I agree with the others, if it's level you are at the best it can get. It will only get worse from here.
  • Agree with the above. If it ain't broke don't fix it. Why do you want it to be down on the nose? Level is what every one shoots for.
At any rate. Yes you will have to redo the hitch
  • My response to your post is.....Why? If you have a level trailer and you have been towing it without issues for a couple of years, why would you want to change it up? This looks like someone with a solution looking for a problem.

If you did this, then I would say, yes you need to reset the hitch. At least you should check the settings and see what might have changed.
