We are feeling it!!

It felt so good today. I don't think so good in months. Hubby and I worked together, synchronized as usual. It went perfect, we were so pleased when we were finished.

We brought the TT home. To our side of the fence that is. Our TT was stored on our neighbors cement pad. They totaled their class A and figured we might as well use the spot.

All we did was bring it home, one driveway to another, LOL. Just that sound of the jack lifting it off the truck, the clinking sound as the bar lifted the bars in place, the grease on my hands, never his, LOL. It all had such a satisfying feeling.

May 16th...3 nights. All I have to do is put clothes in, fresh food and we are off. Hubby still has to flush the lines and check caulking as soon as it warms up and dries up a bit. Counting the days.

  • We are taking delivery of our brand new (first ever) TT on Thursday! Can't wait to feel it!! :B
  • Moved mine from the parking pad beside the garage to the driveway where I have more room, to wash it and prepare to head out on Tuesday. It has been a long, cold winter and spring is finally here, I hope.
  • Took our TT from it's storage area 2 weeks ago to an RV dealer to get a topper installed . Only a
5km drive , but excited to be getting ready. Had to use 4X4 to tow the TT from the parking lot, but the snow and ice is almost gone now.
First trip in 3 weeks: a weekend at Bow Valley on the eastern slopes of the Rockies.
  • Yep, Tues will make 3 wks since we arrived home from our FL hibernation. 4 days past that and it's Willie Nelson time (on the road again).

Know what you mean. It has been a long cold one. Today, I puttered. You know, the checking the tire sidewalls for weather-checks. The crawling underneath....just to.....well, check for whatever. I also took the plastic covering off the fridge and water heater grilles. It feels good to be doing something....well.....trailery. Going for 6 days over the May weekend and can't wait!:B

We are heading out for 3 nights on the long weekend. We are only going about 3 hours away. We normally don't stay this far south but we thought we would start and try a few southern ontario parks. It is small, hope it is ok. We are not taking the boat, the water will be cold, we will just canoe.
  • I would like to be feeling it, but our typical annual trip is still a few months away. I did happen to drive by where my 5th is stored today...about 20 miles from home. At least I could see it this time. Last time by I could barely see it from all of the piled up snow. I do get to go get it and bring it home in a couple of weeks!!
