Have you ever gone camping and seen some homemade gadget or something repurposed and doing a new job and then thought to yourself " I have to do that, its such a great idea"? We need a page on this forum dedicated to just that. The OP was just looking for different little camping gadgets not mods for a camper and many do not list mods anyway. Others post to say they are not going to post. If you are not here to either learn or help fellow campers than why are you on the site. As I read through I felt real bad for the OP, seems like a lot of unhappy people or campers here.

As for me I do see some neat things as I walk around a campground but in reality I either forget it by the time I am home or am not talented enough to build it myself.

What duplicate thread? I haven't started any "duplicate thread", in fact I rarely "start" threads at all, mostly just reply to some ... you must be referring to someone else. :h

You're "guessing" alright as I have the Around the Campfire forum turned off in my preferences and therefore never look at it. Again, you must be referring to someone else. :h

There are some great tips and ideas here!

You can think of it as reading a 335 page novel.
