Weather -How to know if tornados are predicted?

Carry a weather alert NOAA radio tuned to the nearest NOAA regional station. A good NOAA radio will sound an alert and give you the most current warning data. You don't have to be reading a screen or looking at your cell phone to hear information that is changing by the second during a bad storm. Cell phone reception is short range and can easily get disrupted, overloaded or you can be out of range crossing the mid-continent.
