Weber Q 120 problem - Update!

So what's on the grill for tonite?

Called Weber--quite a wait to get through but well worth it. They sent a new ignighter assembly. Looks like an upgrade. Great customer service. All set here for more happy griling!

Did the same thing. Always stored the 220 on its stand in the garage. right next to our big 4 burner Kenmore (weber twin) Ended up selling the big grill. The 220 is perfect for the wife and I.

One of the best investments ive ever made.

I am also sure Weber will stand behind their product, our Q100 is awesome, we have not had that issue with ours.

Just an FYI Lowe's has Weber parts too but it being winter they may be limited.

I've had a Weber Q200 for over 5 years now. without a doubt the best darned BBQ on the market for RV life..

Only reason we upgraded our RV was so as to store the Q in the front storage bin....well OK, maybe not the full reason but finding out it fit - was great.!

Another reason to buy a Weber Q in whatever size you need for RVing.
Fantastic customer service on top of their great product.

I had the problem on our 220. Daughter and friends borrowed the RV for a soccer tournament and the button was missing when they came back. I'd forgotten to warn them about it.

I contacted Weber to find a p/n for a replacement button and three days later a complete new igniter assembly showed up - no charge. I think the button has been redesigned.

Our 220 experienced the same problem. I took the lazy approach, we use a stick lighter. Actually the original problem was corrosion in the battery compartment. We constantly had to sand the battery contacts to make it light. We love the grill, by the way. Case closed.
