I originally had the no heat problem with my cheaper Weber go anywhere grill when I tried to hook it up to a bulk cylinder with a Mr Heater adaptor hose. I thought the two manufactures products wouldnt work together till I bought a official Weber bulk adaptor hose and it didnt work either. After a two beer troubleshoot process I found the propane flow was reduced more than it should at the regulator and my first thought was a regulator issue. Now is where the second beer troubleshoot came into play and just going through the useless customer service flowchart kicks in. I grab my trusty schrader valve core tool and remove the core from the bulk output hose. I then reattach bulk cylinder and hose to grill wallah!!! Problem solved. When I upgraded to my Q220 with a bulk hose I wasnt surprized that Weber didnt fix the problem. This time i was able to adjust the valve core one half turn which allowed enough flow to heat the grill to 700 deg and still allow a bit of safety without removing the core completly. Funny thing is I tried to notify Weber they have an issue with the hose adaptor on their regulators are too short to contact the schrader core pin...
