Have driven all over CA and OR and AZ, I have not found a truck scale in CA that requires Pick ups to stop, Most if not all have a sign prior to entering that says "No Pick Ups", Had a few pick ups with travel trailers get in front of me entering a few scales in OR (scales are located at the rest stops) and they get waved thru. AZ have not seen a pick up go thru the scales, or a pick up pulling a trailer. Now thats not saying that some don't have the "Pre Pass" but I highly doubt it!
