My fiver does the same thing... rubbing on the inside sidewall, not the tread area as others have interpreted your post. It is only on corners, but we do drive some windy 2-lane roads.
I've been monitoring the tires and I made sure there weren't any sharp edges on the inside of the wheelwell. So far, so good. The sidewalls only show that they've been rubbing but no material is missing nor are there any cuts.
I'll monitor this thread to see if someone posts a solution.
