What is the trucks payload (lbs cargo) as listed on the decal on the door jamb?
What is the trucks gcwr as listed in the owners manual?
When you weighed the truck and trailer, were both the trailer and truck loaded as if going camping? This includes family, firewood, tools, bikes, gear, clothing, food, and anything else you would load?
If the trailer is empty (dry) the weights you provided are not what counts. Everything needs to be fully loaded before hitting the scale to properly assess.
