Do you have access to the underside of the shower? If it's just a surface crack, it might not leak much or at all, and depending on what supports the shower underneath, you may not have to do anything. (I think mine sits on a sheet of styrofoam board, which sits on some supporting structure.) If the supporting structure is defective, temporary repair is probably not going to be sufficient as usage will cause further breakage and cracking.
Some appropriate tape would work decently for a repair. I don't know that I'd use duck tape, since it gets sticky and nasty and stepping on it would be icky, but foil tape for ductwork would probably be effective, or even decent plastic packing tape.
Grinding out the cracks slightly with a Dremel and filling the gouges with (preferably thickened) epoxy would also work quite nicely if you have the tools and materials handy.
