Thank you all so much for your kind replies. I hope the trip goes well. I tried to go to my sister's birthday gathering at my mother's yesterday and left 45 minutes later crying. That was my first social gathering. But in SD, I will not have to do social gathering, her things will not be surrounding me stabbing me in my heart every time I see them. But she will be in my heart and mind and I will take her with me, enjoying the beautiful nature at a place we've never been. We talked of our upcoming trip the week before she died, and she was so excited for us. I think she would want us to go. I might not be the life of the party there so to speak, I might cry there and back and while there, but I'm going to try.
Allyn has checked the RV up one side and down the other because we are planning on selling it. The awning motor was messed up and we had to replace that and a few other minor things and we are going to drive it a good distance before we go.
