Two items. A good potato peeler and (maybe more than ten dollars) a good set of knives for the kitchen.

I'm really surprised that no one posted 'volt meter' until the end of page 2 (19th post) :S

Vent covers so you can leave the roof vents open for fresh air even in pouring down rain.
