I have heard several times and have been convinced after blowing two tires that looked fine but were approx. 7 years old and experiencing damage to our rig of around $7,000 (thankfully mostly covered by our collision insurance) that the expected life of an RV tire is 5 years. I plan to stick to this in the future.
