Question...When did you personally replace a good looking tire due to age?
I'm not sure there is any consensus, other than the absolute 10 yrs as end of life regardless of condition or use, even unused spares. Otherwise you'll hear & see everything from 6 yrs to 10 yrs. The only consensus is that after about 6 yrs you should at least have them inspected annually. In typical RV use where tires never wear out by tread use, its more a question of how well they were cared for, or abused that determines whether 6 yrs or 10 yrs is safe.
My 22.5" OEM tires still looked new & performed as new, after 9 yrs part time use (4,500 mi/yr avg). Knowing that they were always inflated properly, stored properly and covered from the sun's UV rays, I was willing to push them close to the 10 yr max. They got replaced at 9 yrs. never had a leak, never a blowout, nor any cracking or any other issue in 9 yrs use.
If I had bought a used RV with tires of unknown history to me, I would be replacing them much sooner, regardless of how they looked.
edit: the above comments referenced my class A DP which typically come with quality tires. However, on my 5th wheel, which typically come with china junk tires, I replaced them after 2 yrs with some real tires.
